Worried that their first restaurant would be crowded, I came to their branch in Siam Icon instead. Taking a boat from Wat Pho, which cost me THB 30. It's past lunchtime already. Still, there was a waiting list. Three names before mine. But, not that long to wait. The menu was simple. I decided to give a try to Dried Grinding Squid, Classic Pad Thai Sen-Chan and Pad Thai Sen-Chan with Shrimp Oil wrapped in egg. Dried Grinding Squid was basically similar to dried squid snacks you can find in grocery stores. It came with brown sauce, I did not recognize what it was made from. The sauce tasted sweet, while the squid was a bit savory, almost plain. Texture wise, a bit chewy. The difference between the two pad thais is the classic one had light flavor and looked pale white, unlike most pad thais which were brownish. While the one with shrimp oil appeared pale red in color and had a taste of seafood. The crushed peanuts were not mixed with the noodles like you might find in most pad thais. It should be safe for those who are allergic to peanuts. Both of the pad thais were sweet. At the beginning, the taste was good. But, gradually it became unpleasant. I suggest adding chillies for a bit of spiciness. They serve chillies on the side. As for the drink, I went for Thai Milk Tea which I surely recommend. It was creamy, not overly sweet. I heard they are famous for their orange juice. The price was quite high for a 500-ml-bottle, around THB 219 at that time. You should ask before ordering because the price can be different every other day.

Everyone says orange juice is the best but it is quite pricy! I tried lots of inexpensive mandarine juice(35bhat) last couple days, so i ordered COCONUT! Omg! I never had such a tasty coconut in my life ever! (I had 2 coconut haha) Pad tai was really good! ( I added some fish sauce+ chilli powder+lime! ) The other noodle dish was very sweet to me(with egg omelete one). There some line up and wait times, if you okay to wait then go for it unless there lots of tasty pad tai places in town!

I could never have enough of pad thai so for my last dinner in this visit-yes, pad thai again at this place inside Iconsiam. One you have enough pad thai they all taste the same already. Pad thai served here may look sad compared to that pad thai place on Thong Lor but it is still packed with so much flavor. The nasty thing about visiting Thailand is that you miss the people and the food once you are back in your own country 😢

Popular pad Thai restaurant in icon siam mall. The ambience of this restaurant was awesome, and it is well staffed. Surprisingly, the restaurant had plenty of seats when I went during Friday dinner time. I paid 256 baht including 10% service charge and 7% tax just for an orange juice. It is even more expensive than the main dish. The small bottle was "sold out". This is terrible! I would give 0 star for the orange juice. Pad thai was good, add the lime juice then it will taste nice. The crabs tasted very salty.
